Model Highlights
2021 TLX models come with a turbocharge 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that makes 272 horsepower. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission, which features a torque converter to smooth out any jerkiness in the drivetrain during low speed operation.
Acura worked to improve the sports credibility of the TLX with the additions to the A-Spec package. The package comes with a unique suspension and quick ratio steering setup that is paired with the 4-wheel steering system. This allows the TLX to be both nimble and stable when carving up a twisty road.
Standard equipment levels are excellent. The base TLX comes equipped with LED headlights, Bluetooth connectivity, SiriusXM satellite radio, a rearview camera, keyless access, a 10.2 inch touchscreen display, Siri Eyes Free functionality and USB and iPod connectivity.
Buyers who opt for the Technology Package get a navigation system with real-time traffic updates, a premium audio system with HD Radio, a colored display screen, a perforated leather trimmed interior, lane assist system, lane departure warning system and blind spot and forward collision warning systems as well.
The A-Spec package utilizes a quicker steering ratio, sporty suspension and lower profile tires. It demonstrates excellent handling ability without any major compromises in the comfort department. The A-Spec features include Shark Grey 19-inch wheels, gloss black accents front to rear, a darkened headlight and taillight treatment, and a pronounced rear decklid spoiler.
Safety systems across the TLX line include anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control. Front, side, side curtain and driver's knee air bags are all standard.
